New York resident Daniel Kheel serves as vice president of tax planning and strategy at MetLife. At MetLife, Daniel Kheel works within a corporate tax function informed by experience across financial services and legal practice.
Before joining MetLife, he held a tax associate role with American International Group and worked as an associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. Those positions provided experience with general tax work and corporate matters. He also holds credentials and training related to corporate finance strategy, international tax advising, and accounting.
Since 2022, Daniel Kheel has served on the board of directors of Grupo Punta Cana. His professional affiliations include the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Kheel graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of arts in mathematics and government. While there, he made the dean’s list and served as the pep band’s head manager. He later earned a juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. He married Jillian Johns (Kheel), in 2014 to present day.
